Privacy policy

Effective September 10, 2026. Applies to the usegonow.com website and the GoNow mobile app.

The short version. The website stores the email you give us for the waitlist, and messages you send through the contact form. Analytics are cookieless and anonymous. The app is designed to keep your calendar, locations, and routines on your device. We do not sell data, ever.

Who we are

GoNow is made by AC13 Studios ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: support@ac13studios.com.

This website

Waitlist signup

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the page you signed up from, the campaign parameters in the link that brought you here (if any), the referring site (if any), your browser's user agent string, and the country your request came from. We use this to send you launch news and to understand which channels bring people here. We keep it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

The email list is stored in our own database hosted on Cloudflare. If we later use an email delivery service to send the launch email, we will name it here before doing so.

Contact form

Messages you send through the contact page are stored with your name (if given), email, the topic you chose, your user agent, and country, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. We keep them for as long as needed to handle your request, and delete them on request.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless service. It records page views and a few anonymous events (such as a waitlist signup happening, or a store badge being clicked) without cookies, personal identifiers, or cross-site tracking. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Hosting and logs

The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request metadata (such as IP addresses) to serve and protect the site, under its own privacy policy. We keep short-lived server logs for debugging.

Cookies

The public site does not set tracking cookies. The content editing area used by the site's author sets a session cookie for that author only.

The GoNow app

[LEGAL REVIEW: confirm against the final build before store submission.] GoNow is designed so that:

  • Your events, destinations, travel choices, and routines are stored on your device.
  • Your location is used on-device to estimate travel time. If a travel-time estimate requires a maps or routing service, only the origin and destination needed for that estimate are sent, and we will name the provider here.
  • There is no account and no sign-in.
  • Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics and crash reports may be collected to keep the app working; these do not include your locations or event details.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We do not see your payment details.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to our using it. Email support@ac13studios.com or use the contact page. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children

The site and app are not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and, for waitlist members, say so in the next email.
